An early Worcester coffee can or small mug with spreading base, circa 1752-3

Painted with a version of the Willow Root pattern,  a willow tree, banana plant and fence by a fishing boat. The pattern could be varied according to the shape of the piece, and sometimes included a ‘Long Eliza’ figure.

Condition: Small chip to rim on reverse, 0.5 cm fine rim crack, 3cm fine hairline to body
