A Worcester butter tub, cover and stand, circa 1770

Printed in blue with ‘The Three Flowers’ pattern, showing a spray of flowers with three prominent central flowers and a rose, and various other buds and leaves.  Each piece has twig-shaped handles applied to the body with flowers and leaves.

Blue crescent mark to stand and base of butter tub

Condition: 5mm glaze fault in manufacture to rim of tub near handle. 3 mm chip to under side of rim of cover. Otherwise very good.
