A Caughley fluted tea bowl, circa 1785

Gilded with swags, the border with a continuous band of husks and the gilt cartouches enclosing blue flowers.  The interior is decorated with a gilt border design and central gilt and blue flower.  It is likely to have been decorated at Chamberlains establishment in Worcester.

Condition: good, a chip under the glaze in manufacture on the outer rim, light gilt wear to rim.
