A Caughley teapot and cover of bullet form, circa 1780-85

The moulded spout and handle in imitation of the Chinese, decorated in mazarine blue and gilding, probably in the Chamberlain’s workshop in Worcester.

Condition: 9cm fine crack above handle, two small bruises to knop, gilt wear to handle, slight gilt wear to teapot rim and blue decoration.
