A fine Neale & Co creamware basket and stand, circa 1785-90

The rim and ‘threads’ twisting around the webs of the basket are enamelled in green, the basketweave of the stand and pierced rim also in green. To the centre of each are printed molluscs and a flower sprig in brown enamels.

Diameter of stand 24.5cm, basket 21.5cm

Condition: Three minute hairlines to top rim of basket, and tiny nick, just visible in image.
