Painted with shaped cartouches of fence and flowers in red, blue, green and gilt within a basketweave moulded surround, in an apricot-orange coloured ground with gilt flowers. The top and foot rim gilded. The inside border of both cups painted with a stylised design of flowers and leaves in blue, green, red and yellow.

Mark: PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA impressed to base of teacup
Condition: Minor wear to moulding on saucer and gilt rims, slightly stained glaze craze to base of coffee cup.
Note: The coffee cup is of a paler apricot colour than the teacup and saucer.
