A New Hall flower footed teapot, circa 1790

 

The teapot in hybrid hardpaste porcelain is decorated in pattern number 78, and is of fluted commode shape, with straight spout, handle with acanthus moulding, and the lid with a pineapple knop.

The base has four floret feet and characteristic wiped fingermarks.

Height of teapot: 13.2 cm

Marks: None

Condition:  Spout tip chipped;  a very small chip to the inside rim; and a crack to the inside rim of cover.
