A pair of Coalport vases, circa 1805

Each vase painted with a colourful spray of flowers within a panel, the sides with complex black enamelled design, the base painted in blue. The gilt design on the lids mirrors that on the top of the vases. Each lid is surmounted by a gold lion.

Height of vases 25.5 cm

Condition: Crack to base of one vase extending a short way up side. Two 2cm cracks to top rim of second vase. Both lids broken and repaired.
