A rare Coalport ‘Animal Service’ coffee can and saucer, circa 1805 (1)

The can painted with ‘The old English Hound’, and the saucer with ‘The Greyhound Fox’, titled in red to the bases.

Dimensions:  can 6cm high, saucer 14cm diameter

Condition: 2 cm hairline to rim of can (only visible under UV light), some staining to inner rim of and slight glaze craze to base; slight gilt wear to saucer.
