A rare Derby model of a swan, circa 1770-72

Derby swans were produced in three sizes after about 1770, at 10d, 1s and 1s 3d. Models of swans were also made at Bow and Chelsea from the mid 1750s and later at Lowestoft during the 1780s. They are rare survivors.

Condition: Tiny nick to right foot, slight wear to enamels on beak tip and feet.
