A rare early Worcester coffee cup, circa 1753

Painted with branches of yellow and red flowering prunus and rockwork in Kakiemon taste, above a single red line. This is a rare pattern occurring on a small number of Worcester cups.

An incised line within the footrim

Condition: 2 miniscule rim nicks, a 1cm Y-shaped crack to the base, some fade to green enamel.
