A rare early Worcester hexagonal creamboat, circa 1754

Crisply moulded scroll-edged panels, a geranium leaf below the spout, the square handle with curled thumbrest. ‘Smoky primitive’ prints of a castle to one side, a large house to the reverse and a bird on branch inside.

Length of cream boat 10.9 cm

Condition: Very tiny rim nick
