A rare New Hall hybrid hard paste porcelain coffee cup and saucer, circa 1790

Painted with a narrow blue band edged with gilt, a gilt rim, and below, gilt swags and festoons, above a narrow spatula moulded base with bands of blue and gilt.  The cup with a pixie-ear handle.

Height of cup: 6.5 cm

Condition:  2 chips to rim of saucer.  3 cm hairline to rim of cup.
