A rare pair of Bow dishes, circa 1760

Of sycamore shape with five segments, the realistic veins possibly moulded from life and the handles shaped as stalks.  Both dishes are well painted with sprays of flowers and the rims edged in brown.

Large numeral 5 painted in puce to base of both dishes

Condition: Dish with vertical 5 mark has a broken and professionally restored section to bottom right leaf and top left leaf. Dish with horizontal 5 mark has several small professionally restored rim chips.
