A Worcester fluted tea canister, circa 1765-68

The tea canister boldly decorated with a large spray of colourful flowers. This delicate style of flower painting, with spindly stems and the use of opaque blue enamel, is an uncommon factory style usually found on teawares with broad vertical facets (See Zorensky, Worcester Porcelain, p.188, no. 200, by Simon Spero and John Sandon).
