An early Bow large sweetmeat stand, circa 1752

The stand has three large and three smaller shells on two levels, on a rocky base which has small applied shells and seaweed. The interior of the sweetmeat shells are painted with flowers in a famille-rose palette.

Condition:  One small shell appears to have been broken and professionally restored, one other small shell has a small restored crack and associated rim restoration, and there are two small filled rim chips on the larger shells.
