An early Worcester fluted coffee can, circa 1754-55

The can of fluted or reeded form, painted in red, green and yellow with ‘famille rose’ sprays of flowers, the rim with a red line and further flowers and leaves. The glaze is greyish in tone.

Height: 5.4 cm

Very small workman’s mark of an ‘x’ painted in black to base

Condition:  Two minute nicks to rim
