The teapot finely potted of hybrid hard paste porcelain and of slim commode shape, with ‘fence’ and acanthus moulding between columns, and sun motifs in the upper corners of each panel. The cover has a lion finial. It is painted with sprigs of flowers in the panels, and the columns, shoulder and cover are lined in pink and green.
This teapot shares characteristics with Ralph Wedgwood earthenware teapots of the same period, but it has not been possible to make a definite attribution.
